Sorry for the late response.
When discovering devices, Netbrain uses snmp to indentify the device types, if it is not available, NB will assume the target devices as Cisco IOS switch...

What is the size of the config file? You can copy and save config file to a notepad and to see if it exceeds 12kB. PE does not support config files bigger than 12kB. BTW, can you discover the device...

U can set the snmp strings properly in Netbrain(Shared Network Settings or Live Network Settings) first, then discover the windows pc ip addresses, they should be listed on the left Workspace pane....
