Default How to resolve the Visio error “The system failed to export the Q-map to Visio, please check if the Visio has been installed correctly”

**Problem:

OE cannot export the qmap to visio with error "The system failed to export the Q-map to Visio, please check if the Visio has been installed correctly"

**Root cause:
MS Office/Visio upgrading may insert/remove multiple Visio registry keys which confuse netbrain app.

**Solution:
1. Reinstall the OE workstation/Visio program first.
2. If the re-installation cannot solve the issue, send the GUI.log to Support team which you can get from the following steps:
a. Download the TroubleshootVisio_new.zip from this link. http://www.netbraintech.com/ftp/support/TroubleshootVisio_new.zip
b. Extract the zip folder to a temp folder and run testViso.exe to open the Visio TroubleShoot window.
c. Open Visio and select Export Visio Map to write the relevant log data in the GUI.log file.
d. Send the GUI.log file to BJ support team, and BJ team will reply back to you after analyzing the file.
3. Please send us the Registry table below, for 64 bit OS: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\TypeLib\{00021A98-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
For 32 bit OS: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00021A98-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}], right click the entry> Export, please zip the *.reg file and send it to us(The reg file will be blocked by email system by default).

4. Also send the versions info for Windows/Visio/OE.
a. Windows version: windows xp/vista/7/2008 standard/ultimate/professional/enterprise sp1/2 32/64bit ?
b. Visio version: run the visio application, Navigate to Help>About Microsoft Office Visio.
c. OE version. From the upper-right corner of your OE workstation, click the ‘i’ icon to open the About NetBrain Workstation window.
5. A detailed description of how and when this happened (e.g. happened while upgrading Office or it worked last week) will help a lot.

**Applicable to: OE/CE all version
