Hello,
I have autonomous Cisco access points deployed in a point to multi point configuration. Netbrain has found these devices and can log in via both SSH and SNMP. However the client access points do not always show as connected to wireless root bridge via their dot11radio interfaces. If I manually look at the client access point cdp table and drag it to the map it does map correctly. However, every time I auto update the map I lose this information. How can I make sure these dot11 connections are automatically shown correctly on my L2 maps? Thanks |

Hello Peter,
NetBrain uses CDP/LLDP and MAC calculation to build L2 topology and establish links between devices. Based on your description, it looks like there is an error while rebuilding L2 which prevent these links to connect to each other. We need more data to further investigate this issue so I suggest you to send an email to [email protected] and attach all problematic devices into a Qmap and one of our engineers will follow up with you. Thank you. |
