Default How to Enable HTTPs in NetBrain OEv5.1

1. Set up SSL on the Information Services (IIS) server (If you have not done it yet).

2. Set up Https in NetBrain server.
  • Change the Workspace Server IP address: Login to NetBrain Customer License server, http://your server ip/netbrain, switch to Workspace Server page, select the workspace server, click Edit button to edit the IP Port to 443. Submit the change and click Refresh button to load server workspaces to current workspace server. See snapshot below:

  • Browser to NetBrain Workspace Server page. Login and switch to Options, edit the option "The way to access" to HTTPS and also set the ip/ports manually. See sample below:
  • Restart the WWW service and NetBrain Benchmark Schedule service. Remote desktop to the server which hosts NetBrain Workspace server. Press win +R to open the Run window, enter “services.msc” to open the Services window, restart the World Wide Web Publishing Service and NetBrain Benchmark Schedule service.

3. For the client, please change the login port to https, see below:
