Default FAQ: How does NetBrain support logical routers (Juniper platform) and virtual routers (Juniper/Cisco/Brocade)?

NetBrain handles the virtualization from all vendors in a similar fashion:

>> During the discovery process, the virtual instances of a network device are discovered independently as long as they are configured to handle separate management query such as SNMP/CLI.

>> For the L2/L3 topology, each instance of the virtual devices is treated as a separate entity such that it has a distinct symbol in the Q-map. This representation allows the user to interact with each virtual instance as if it is a physical device.

>>For inventory purpose, NetBrain tries to document the physical relationship among multiple virtual instances.

Currently, Cisco VDC has been supported and the other virtual routers has been put in our road-map.
