Hi,
1. If two devices have multiple connections, how many link will display on the map when we click the Auto Link ? Answer: If there is at least one connection (direct connection or the connections via LAN / WAN items) between these two device, the “Auto Link” will display only 1 (one) link by default. In order to display all the connections, you are required to modify the configuration files as below : a. Please open the file in your EE Client machine (not the ES server) - XX:\Program Files (x86)\NetBrain\Workstation Enterprise Edition\conf\graphics.ini b. Add the following parameters (copy & paste these two lines) and save the file, you may want to modify the number based on your actual requirement. [Preference] AutoLinkWidth=5 c. Exit your EE workstation, and then re-login d. Try to Auto link to verify 2. what is the priority of those links (if the default/set AutoLinkWidth value is less than the actual ones) ? Answer: Firstly it will check the “direct connection”, then the connections via the LAN/WAN. If they only connected to each other via LAN/WAN (means no direct physical connection), then NetBrain will display the links based on the sequence of its neighbor list. |
