Default How to exchange routes between RIP and OSPF?

Preview Qmap: "RIP-OSPF Distribution.qmap"


According to the topology above, configure R4 so that
* All routers will learn routes in 199.172.0.0/16 network from BB1
* BB1 will learn all network in the rack via RIP with metric as 3

  • For OSPF to redistribute sub-network from other protocols, add "subnets" keyword in redistribute command
  • Only RIP version 2 can carry classless network from backbone
