Default IPAM with Netbrain

Is there an easy way to see which IPS are available within a certain subnet? I can scroll through and see which ones have reported to NB, but would like to use this as an IPAM tool if possible.

Default Re: IPAM with Netbrain

It depends if those IPS support SNMP, if it support SNMP, NB will discover it into workspace. For IP addressing report, please feel free to try our Asset Report feature, you can create interface report for network devices , then export the data to Excel or CSV file. Unfortunately, the asset report does not include netmask information at the moment.

To generate asset report.

1) Under the Workspace tab in the menu, click the Asset Report button within the Export group. The Asset Report pane opens.

2) Select the devices you want to create the asset report for, and click the Create Asset Report button in the ribbon bar.

3) Click the Start button. The system starts to create the report and the progress is displayed in the bar at the right of the Progress of exporting data label.
Please note that the “Only report physical interface info” checkbox will exclude the logical interfaces such as the loopback, in your case, please make sure to deselect this option.

The exported content for interface info includes three tables: Router_IF_Report, Switch_IF_Report, and Other_If_Report. You can use these information for IP addressing documentation and auditing.
